Hello again. I noticed that some of the armoury lists, namely -
*List of Space Marine equipment - http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/List_of_...xH-dPmcedk
*Witch Hunters Armoury - http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Witch_Hu...xIATPmcedk
are organised around gameplay mechanics rather than background (SM one has weapons divided by 1-hand/2-hand rather than by type and vehicles divided by elite/fast attack/support etc).
Obviously these will need changed, but I thought it would be a good idea to standardise all such lists to the same type of format.

I recently created "Adepta Sororitas Equipment (List) " http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Adepta_S...xH9dvmcedk
and wondered if other users thought this would be a good format to use.

The I used layout is as follows -

*Weapons
- divided into
**Close Combat Weapons
**Ranged Weapons (Basic) - for boltguns, pistols etc
**Ranged Weapons (Heavy) - for heavy and vehicle weapons
**Named Weapons - for character specific weapons (Obv with some lists like the Marines this section would probably be too big and would reuire its own list page)

*Equipment - all miscellaneous wargear

*Vehicles and Vehicle Upgrades

This seperates all equipment into simple categories, but avoids referencing any game mechanics or army lists.
Any thoughts?

Hi all.
As you may be aware, several of the space marine infobox templates in the English lex were affected by the recent update. Myself and a couple of other users have taken a look at them, and in attempting to 'jury-rig' fixes until someone with more markup knowledge takes a look at them, we noticed that the French equivalents were pretty cool.

As an experiment, I've copied the French code for Later Founding Chapters, and it can be seen used on the English lex at the moment. I guess I'm asking for opinions about this; do we like using the same code as the French site, shall we keep it, should we use all the French template coding as standard etc.
Thanks.

As may have been noticed, some users (not myself, though I joined in later to help) started a rebuild of the Space Marine Lists. As a part of this rebuilding I have decided to go through each individual Space Marine Chapter page to standardise them.

Each page will now adhere to this format -
*Portal Box
*Lede (Lead paragraph - a brief desciption)
*Chapterbox
*All other info (Everything else)
*Related Articles (the list links, plus page specific info)
*Sources

I have removed "Stub" tags from most of the articles - almost all the stub tags were placed on pages where the chapter was only mentioned in a single source - so no more information would ever be available (unless GW happen to revive the chapter with more background).
"Stub" tags only have a practical application on pages where it is possible to add more info - on a Space Marine Chapter page where the chapter is only mentioned in passing they serve no purpose other than to clutter up the page.

Any queries etc can be sent to my user page, thanks.

I have been looking through the lexicanum just recently and have found that many of the battles of the Imperial forces are more related to Codexes or lore, given that there are hundreds fought in the Imperium every day.
What I'm asking is, why are there not battles, say from the Gaunt's Ghosts Series, or the Ultramarines Omnibus, Space Wolves, Storm of Iron by Graham McNeill? Yes, given that these battles have changed the course of history in the Imperium, why are these from the Codexes, and not from the wide range of Lore and Novels that fill the Libraries? It would be interesting to have these up as well, would one think?

Ich hab ja schon auf der Portaldiskussion geschrieben, wie mies im Moment der Zustand von Miniaturartikel ist.

Das sind alle artikel, die es momentan gibt:

Space Marines (Miniaturen 1. Edition)
Space Marines (Miniaturen 2. Edition)
Space Marines (Miniaturen 3. Edition)
Space Marines (Miniaturen 4. Edition)
Space Marines (Miniaturen 5. Edition)
Miniaturen:Legion of the Damned
Miniaturen:_Blood_Angels
Miniaturen: Nemesis-Ritter
Miniaturen:Boss
Miniaturen: Bigmek (Warhammer 40.000)
Miniatur:Terminatoren
Miniaturen:Boss
Miniaturen:Kampfpanza
Miniaturen:Yarrick
Miniaturen: Bigmek (Warhammer 40.000)
Miniaturen: Eldar
Miniaturen: Kampfpanza (Warhammer 40.000)

Kategorie:Tabletop
Kategorie:Hauptspiel
Kategorie:Nebenspielsysteme
Kategorie:Spielbegriffe
Kategorie:Spielutensilien
Kategorie:Modellbau
Kategorie:Bemalung
Kategorie:Games Workshop

Was meint ihr?
